When should I expect my subscription item to arrive?

simplygreat subscriptions are sent out on the first week of every month, with delivery expected within 3-5 business days from shipping.

Why are the toothbrushes delivered every 3-months?

As much as it is about the enjoyment of a fresh mouth, it is also about performance. In addition to not cleaning your teeth well, a worn-out toothbrush will cause damage to the soft tissues surrounding your teeth.

Any toothbrush will wear down as you use it. Your dentist will advise that they ought to be replaced every 3-monthly to ensure you get optimum clean and healthy gums.  

How does the Subscription work?

Subscription orders are billed automatically every 3-months, and you receive your order 4 times during the year on a 3-monthly basis.

Are simplygreat toothbrushes 100% biodegradable?

Simplygreat toothbrushes are 99% biodegradable. All our handles both bamboo and the bio-plastic options are biodegradable. Simply remove the bristles with a pair of pliers, and discard toothbrush handle in one of these three easy ways:

  • The quickest and most effective way is to put your toothbrush handle in your bio-waste bin to be disposed of in an industrial composter. This ensures that it will break down in a few weeks.
  • You can also put your bamboo toothbrush in your very own compost bin at home, isn't that great!
  • But even if you just throw it into your normal rubbish and the toothbrush ends up in landfill, it will still biodegrade in a few years. That's where you are making a difference.

Can I choose my colour?

Yes, you can choose from our 10 different possibilities of coloured bristles, or you can choose assorted for that element of surprise every time. After all, we do like to keep it fun.

Does a bamboo toothbrush feel different?

Yes. Bamboo toothbrushes feel different than the plastic you have been used to for most of your life. But it only takes few uses to condition your mind to ignore these differences. Here's a simple tip, it helps to wet the toothbrush before using it.

Why don’t you have medium or hard bristles toothbrushes?

It is all about balancing teeth cleaning and gum health. You would probably have heard your dentist say not to brush too hard or not to use toothbrushes with medium to hard bristles. This is because surrounding your teeth are sensitive soft tissues, your gums.

 

That’s why our simplygreat toothbrush ranges are designed only with soft or ultra-soft bristles for optimum teeth cleaning and even greater gum health.

Why aren't the bristles biodegradable?

The reason why we don’t use biodegradable bristles is quite simple. There are no options to date that meets the requirements of the industry, after all, cleaning your pearly whites is the main purpose of the toothbrush. We cannot compromise on that.

Although the bristles represent a small fraction of our toothbrush material, we still take a responsible approach to minimise the impact on our environment. Our Bristles are bio-based and derived from renewable sources.

Can I track my order?

No - to keep our product costs low to you, we use untracked mail through NZ Post.

However, we'll send you an email 3-days prior to your order shipping (in case you need to update your address or pause your delivery), and then we'll send you an email notification once the order is shipped. New Zealand orders are delivered within 3-5 business days from shipping.

When will my first simplygreat toothbrush arrive?

To keep our carbon cost low and make oursimplygreatproducts even more affordable to you, we ship our products once monthly at the beginning of each month. We use New Zealand Post for all deliveries and orders are estimated to arrive within the first week of the month.

What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with any of our simplygreat products, we will provide a full refund for your first order. No questions asked and no return is necessary.

However, you must raise a return ticket with us via our website within 10-days from the shipping date.

Do you store my credit card information?

No, we do not hold any credit card information you provide at checkout.

We use Stripe a well-known and secured payment gateway used by many businesses in New Zealand to handle all payment transactions.

Do you Ship outside of New Zealand

At the moment, we only ship within New Zealand.
